The cattle are checked regularly while the Exmoor ponies have a dedicated pony checking rota organised by the Society, made up of people from the local community who monitor the ponies on a daily basis. If there are any urgent issues with livestock, including cattle or ponies escaping onto neighbouring land or onto the roads, (not the roads between the Commons where there are cattle grids) please contact the farmer Nick Harvey on 07710 031820.
